Need a yummy mid-morning treat? These make excellent and healthy treats that your little ones will enjoy.
1 cup of raisins or other dried fruit
Grease a 13x9x2 inch-baking pan.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter and honey. Let cool.
In a large bowl, mix the granola, oatmeal, dried fruit, sunflower seeds and nuts.
Stir in the peanut butter and honey mixture to coat.
Slowly mix in the eggs. Gently stir in the rice cereal.
Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 10-30 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges.
Kids can help wrap them individually in foil or plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator. Makes about 20 bars.
*For different variations you can add chocolate chips, or peanut butter chips instead of sunflower seeds.
